With the recent release of the the Rising Sun edition, fans of the 12th installment of the Air Jordan series have a lot to be excited about. The “Flu Game” edition of the Air Jordan XII received its nickname because Michael Jordan was wearing them when he scored 38 points against the Utah Jazz in the 1997 playoffs, Originally the Air Jordan 11 ‘Space Jam’ Retro was set to release on November 27th, 2009 but as you should know by now the release date has been pushed back to December 23rd, 2009. It has now become clear why the date change by the Space Jams was made.This is a Nike Air Jordan 12 XII Retro - Flu Game (black / varsity red) originally seen in the 1997 NBA finals against the Utah Jazz. This shoe is being released to honor that legendary game where Michael Jordan played with the Flu hence the name "Flu Game". Jordan won the game and carried his team to victory with 38 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals.
