The Air Jordan XVI 16 (white / midnight navy) were released on March 24, 2001, and retailed for $160. They feature a white leather upper with an extremely noticeable blue patent leather toe. The Jordan shroud features a white leather design as well as a navy mesh on the back.The shoe also features a clear strip vertically down the heel counter, as well as a clear outsole. The sole seems to be a problem among critics, as they feel there is not enough rubber that, which would explain the lack of traction within the shoe.
