The Air Jordan XIX (Midwest Edition) were released on July 10, 2004. They feature a white and red upper, constructed from a combination of leather, mesh, and patent leather. The chrome accents, which can mainly be seen on the Jumpman logo, are great accents. They are dubbed the “Midwest” as they were part of a regional campaign, and only released in the Midwest region. The Air Jordan 19 (XIX) was modeled after the Black Mamba, the most dangerous snake on earth. They make great basketball shoes, and consist of features such as a phylon midsole with a double stack Air Sole Unit in the heel, combined with a full length zoom air bag, as well as a 3/4 length carbon fiber shank for added support.
