Air Jordan V 5 Retro Countdown Split (white / black / fire red)

Here are some detailed pictures of the Air Jordan V 5 Retro Countdown Split (white / black / fire red) which are slated to released on August 23, 2008 alongside the Air Jordan 18 (XVIII) in Jordan Brand’s latest Countdown Package. They feature a white leather upper along with plastic webbing on the side panels. They also sport a black midsole with red accents which is actually made to look like teeth, as the shoe is inspired by the WW2 Mustang fighter plane. One of the most noticeable features on the plane was the shark teeth and the same goes for these. This is the second time that this particular pair of Fire Reds have been retroed, as the Fire Reds released in December 2006 featured a predominantly red midsole with black teeth. ( the inverse of these). Another interesting feature that fanatics will go for is the translucent outsole, which is always an added bonus. Unfortunately, the heel area will feature the Jumpman log instead of the Nike Air logo like the originals.
